[When he regained consciousness, he stood up and study the area around him. This is definitely not the forest outside of Stormfist, or anywhere near the capital or towns he went to before. What’s more important is what happened to him and how it happened.

Did the enemies got to him and separate him from the army?

It doesn’t take him very long to notice the journal nearby. Cautiously, he walks over and pick it up. The pages he see, read and hear surprised him.]

...The hell’s this?

[Later on, after having some conversations over the strange journal, Roy managed to find his way into the village. Despite looking rather casual, he’s studying the village and the residents. Allies, or hidden enemies from the Prince’s army?

He have to be careful around here.]

[He knew this isn't how things had happened. He knew. Had the Malnosso....?

They had given them false memories before, many times before. But usually that was in a village wide experiment.]

They must have tampered with your memories. That's the only explanation.

[Some small part of him doubt it, but that means admitting the Prince is right.]

[Technically, he's Gizel's pawn, but he knows that.]

.....Are you trying to tell me that you believe you are sided with the Godwin Faction?

I am working for them.

[falenandawn]

You believe you are. [Glaring.]

I know I am, Your Highness. [His annoyance is getting more obvious now, from his expression, tone of voice and body language.]

[He doesn't care. This is ridiculous.]

I would have thought you to have more honor then that. The Roy I know wouldn't have allied himself with traitors to the crown.

[He had since accepted that the Godwin Faction had simply desired to help Falena reach a more prosperous future.... but they still had used deceit, murder and subterfuge to attempt to reach their goals. It didn't seem at all like Roy.]

[There's very few things that can get under his skin. Not trivial problems or his resemblance to the Prince. They do annoyed him, truly.

But it's when someone questions his honour that truly get a greater rise out from him. And by someone he really (envies) dislike and spoke as if he knew him?

So he lash out with a punch.]

[That punch hurts, and he stumbles back a bit before launching one of his own at Roy's face.

Perhaps he's getting too upset by all this. It was obviously a Malnosso experiment, afterall.... but he'd been worried damn it.]

I do know you. Perhaps not this you, but I do.

[Damn, that really hurts. The pain is still stinging on his face, as he glares at Frey.]

No, you don't!

[He rejects it. The thought that Prince Freyjadour Falenas would know and care about him as allies is hard to swallow.

It's easier if they just hate each other. Being hated and considered as an annoyance to stay away from. It's easy and familiar.

He throws another punch, still pissed off.]

[Now Roy you know he's not going to stand there and take that. Rather, he's going to be pushing that punch away with a block before aiming yet another at Roy.

He didn't want to accept this kind of betrayal was a possibility, so perhaps they were both in denial.]

Stop it!

[falenanthief]

[They can both be in denial together, no matter how much he dislike it.

The punch caught him off guard, but it doesn't stop him from being yelling back.]

[A challenge to the Prince. Just try and make him stop.]

[Fine with him.

Except he knows he can't make Roy do anything. As frustrating as it was, he knew it was only something time could fix..... as it always was, with these things.]

[Then what? Beat up on the Prince some more. A part of him wants it, but the rest of him say it's useless.

It's just the two of them here. What satisfaction can he get from that?]

[He grits his teeth, frustrated beyond belief with all of this.]

Fine. I shall speak to you later, when you are back to normal and willing to listen to reason. But remember that this is a small village. Do not go thinking to continue whatever orders the Godwin Faction gave you here.

Hah, think what you want. Beside, you probably have your influence all over this place, anyway.

[Which mean it might be harder for Roy to shake this village's perception of the Prince. Fine, he'll behave...for now.]

Think what you will. If you truly are so blind as to work with the Godwin Faction and believe yourself to be working towards what her majesty wishes, then I have no desire to explain anything to you.

[Bitter words, but.... well.]

[He's not working for Her Majesty's sake. Just his own selfishness to oppose the prince.]

Hmph.

[With a dark look, Roy walks away from Frey. He'll learn his way around this forest.]

[falenandawn]

[And he'll walk away himself.

Roy returned in one piece.... he isn't even injured. He'll be fine wandering around on his own.]
