Wing Color: Red
History: Suikosource page

Personality:
As a thief who grew up on the streets, Roy can be a rather grumpy boy. It’s quite easy to piss him off, especially when people pointed out his uncanny facial resemblance to the Prince. He thought it was unfair that, even if he looks like the Prince, Roy is a pauper and the Prince is living it up in luxury. In short, Roy has some strong envy for the Prince’s position and it’s the primary reason for his antagonism with the Prince.
However, he does take advantage of his looks when Euram Barrows recruited him to pretend to be the Prince. Roy eagerly agreed to be the Bandit Prince, as not only he makes trouble amongst people by stealing, but also to smear the Prince’s name at the same time for his own amusement, which he admitted when the Prince and company came to investigate.
But Roy is also a person that can admit to his wrongdoings and even apologise, eventually, even if it takes a while. He denied Lyon’s words over his selfishness and childishness, thinking she didn’t know him. After losing the battle against the Prince, he admits to it after thinking it through, when he’s no longer fired up.
While Roy won’t actually start up a physical fight, he can be provoking and insulting, from saying a person’s faults or insults directly in their face to just mutterings to himself. Unfortunately, this can be a problem if he does so while in his Prince disguise.
Despite his rough self, he has a sense of honour and will always keep his word. As seen when he lost the duel against the Prince, Roy gave his word to let the Prince do whatever he like to him, even punishment by death.
Working as the Prince’s double, he take the job seriously and behaves on the field. But he tends to be exaggerating and using words such as ‘thou’ and ‘thine’, despite that no one talks like that anymore, even among nobles. Anyone that knows the Prince and Roy can tell if something’s wrong, even if his disguise can fool all but the Prince (being the real one) and Lyon.
Even while working in the army, Roy gets into troubles while in disguise, from insulting an army member to building up a debt in the Prince’s name via gambling. But he eventually apologise for it, knowing what he did was wrong, even if gambling with Linfa was fun.
With friends, he’ll always watch their backs and dislike getting them into trouble because of him, as seen when he doesn’t want Faylen and Faylon get dragged further into the mess he made and clear up.
Roy also found himself caring deeply for Lyon, the Prince’s bodyguard. Often, he tried to get onto her good side and attempts to fool her in disguise. However, Lyon always sees through his tricks and pointed it out, as she can easily tell the differences between them, causing Roy to drop his Prince act more than once. Seeing how close the Prince and Lyon are always annoyed Roy, as he’s jealous of the attention and bond they have for each other.
Strengths:
Physical: He’s quite flexible and speedy, as well as being able to wield the tri-nunchaku (also known as a sansetsukon or three section staff) skilfully, an uncommon weapon in Falena, in battle. He also have a lot of potential, since he can learn every Epic Skill that can be taught in the game (the other person who can is the Prince), leading him to be a capable fighter.
Most of his Skills can reach rank A, with Thief (get extra Potch with successful hit) being the only one at rank S. He can also steal things from people very quickly.
As he can wield up to two Runes, Roy will be equipped with a Counter Rune and a Wind Rune in Luceti.
Mental: He’s got some street smarts, from living on the streets as since he was young, even if he doesn’t have a proper education. He’s also quite stubborn, set in his way and stick to his thoughts.
However, since he’s been training to be an actor, Roy can memorise many lines for his role and therefore, can use a similar technique in remembering information as well.
Emotional: He’s very loyal to his friends, preferring to fix up his own mess without dragging them in. He got a sense of honour, as seen when he keep his word after being defeated by the Prince.
Weaknesses:
Physical: He’s still human and have a rather slim build, meaning it’s easy for a bigger and stronger person to overpower him if the opportunity rises. Roy also can’t wear heavy armour, as it’ll greatly slow down his quick movements.
While he can use magic via Runes, his magical affinity isn’t as high as the more accomplished mages in the army. And he can’t hit as hard as the better, more trained fighters as well.
Mental: Roy can be quite rash, being quick to leap throwing insults, as well as doing things that’ll bite him later on, such as building up a debt from gambling.
His stubbornness can be problem, as he can be rather sure of himself until he’s forced to admit he’s wrong.
Emotional: It’s easy to annoy Roy, to the point of being pissed off. For all his acting skills, he can still get swept up by his emotions, such as envy, anger and shock.
Samples (ALL samples must be set in Luceti-verse.)
First Person:
Huh? Where the hell am I?! [He looks around at the trees.] Last I checked, I was sleeping in my bed.
Hey, guys! Where are you? Don’t tell me you all ditched me and left me behind! I know you all can see how hard I’ve been training! [There’s a frustrated sound.] Dammit…I thought we got an agreement here! Just you wait until I get my hands on you, sir!
[ After he vents it out for a while, cursing quite a bit, he sighs. Looking around again once he’s calmed down.] Wait…where did these wings come from? And why are they on me?
[He reaches over to tug at them--] OW!
Third Person:
He looked at the wig in his hand. It was long, white and already in the Prince’s braided hairstyle, and it wasn’t entirely neat since he just quickly snatched it from the item store and stuffed it into his bag. It might have made him look suspicious, but Roy didn’t want anyone to see him with the wig in his hand and notice his resemblance to the Prince.
They probably already did see his facial similarities, but that and having the wig in his hand would ruin his fun before they even begun. People would get curious and start to talk, and possibly point out their resemblances to him, just like back home.
Roy loosened the wig from its braid and redid it with well practiced ease to make it neater. It’s a simple, if repetitive, activity. Braiding generally didn’t require too much focus and thought, so he could think of all the pranks he might pull and let his hands move on their own. For a moment, he wondered if the Prince braided his own hair, before Roy pushed the thought away. The guy probably got someone to do it for him (a very small part of him was doubtful about that).
“Heheh, it’s been a while since I had fun.”
It had been a while since Roy had dressed up as the Prince himself and caused confusion in the ranks, both enemies and allies. Ever since he joined the troupe for training after the civil war in Falena, the aspiring actor hadn’t gotten a chance to pull a convincing prank as Prince Freyjadour Falenas.
Especially since the Prince himself was the Commander of the Queen’s Knights, back in their world. As far as he knew, the Prince hadn’t left Falena for trips, officially. But he probably did in secret.
But here in Luceti, he’s from the past and still in the middle of the war. Just knowing he’s ahead of the Prince gave Roy some mixed feelings. Irrational glee on being ‘further’ along, envy over his future and that he got to work closely with Lyon...
Finished braiding the wig, Roy put it on his head. Tucking in his own hair and stood up, heading for his bathroom. He looked at his reflection. If it wasn’t for his clothes, it might as well been the Prince himself looking back at him.
He grinned, watching his reflection do the same. Look out, Luceti, ‘Freyjadour Falenas’ was going out to have some fun.
